A legal disclaimer
These Terms and Conditions apply to SLH Art Galleries membership programme (the "Membership") and the associated benefits provided as part of Membership. By joining, purchasing, or using the Membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. References to SLH Art Gallery, we or us are references to the team at SLH Art Gallery.
Membership Eligibility
To become a member of SLH Art Gallery (a Member), you must be at least 18 years old. Membership is available to individuals only and is non-transferable.
You must have already submitted, been consider and accepted into either an exhibition or to manage your online SLH Art portfolio store.
Membership Duration and Renewal
You can become a member by completing the submission and registration process on our website. Membership is on a rolling monthly basis and billed accordingly.
Memberships are paid by invoice that you will recieve prior to your payment date. It states ‘invoice due by….date’ unless you cancel your membership.
You will receive one reminder prior to your renewal date.

Membership Tiers and Benefits
We offer three different membership tiers for exhibiting – Iris Members, Cosmos Members and Passion Flower Members– each with specific benefits.
Benefits vary per tier and may include:

Entry to exhibitions.

Invitations to special events or viewings.

Priority booking for exhibitions and events.

Constant online promotions of you as an Artist and your works.

Access to creative workshops (discounted)
Please note that Membership benefits vary depending on the Membership tier selected and may change from time to time. SLH Art Gallery reserves the right to modify, add, or remove benefits at its discretion.
You can upgrade your Membership at any time. Upgrades will take effect from the point of sale and will apply for the remainder of your Membership term.
Membership Fees and Payment
4.1 Membership fees are due and payable at the time of registration. You agree to pay the membership fee in full per month at the time of registration.
4.2 Membership fees for any renewal period are due and payable on the date of each renewal.
4.3 Membership fees are non-refundable but are offered of a cancel anytime basis.
4.4 We reserve the right to increase the price of your Membership subscription on an annual basis. If so you will be informed of any fee increase within your renewal notifications.
Administration of your Membership
Membership is administered almost exclusively through SLH Art Gallery’s online channels.
When you join as a Member for portfolio/sales purposes, you will need to create an account with us by using an email address and password. We will send communications about your Membership to the email address associated with your account.
Our right to cancel your Membership or refuse Membership benefits
SLH Art Gallery reserves the right not to fulfil or to cancel or suspend a Membership if you are found to be in breach of these terms and conditions or if we reasonably suspect you are in breach or will breach these terms and conditions and we shall notify you via email.
Your right to cancel
You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us at slh.art@yahoo.com Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current Membership period.
We do not offer refunds for Membership fees already paid. To cancel your Membership as set out in this clause please contact us via e-mail at slh.art@yahoo.com.
The Gallery will not refund Memberships which are purchased
Privacy and Data Protection
When you purchase Membership, it will be necessary for us to obtain from you and process certain information (such as your name, address, date of birth, etc.) which we will treat as “personal data” for the purposes of data protection law. We take your privacy seriously and will only process your personal data in accordance with the law and our Privacy Notice.
Liability
Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by the SLH Art Gallery’s negligence (or that of its staff, employees or agents) or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. SLH Art Gallery shall not be liable (howsoever arising and whether for breach of contract, negligence or for any other reason) to Members or to any other third party for: (a) any loss or damage to personal property that may occur while attending gallery events, exhibitions, or activities; and (b) any loss of profit, loss of sales, loss of revenue or any special, incidental, indirect or consequential loss.
The total liability of SLH Art Gallery for anything that it has done or not done under or in connection with these terms and conditions (and whether the liability arises because of breach of contract, negligence or for any other reason) is limited to an amount equal to the annual Membership Fee paid or payable during the year in which the cause of action arose.
Changes to Terms and Conditions and Membership
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, your Membership and Membership Benefits at any time. Your continued use of the Membership after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions. You will be notified of any significant changes to your Membership via email.
SLH Art Gallery Property Rights
Members and their guests shall not use the SLH Art Gallery’s names, logos, trade marks, service marks, copyright materials or other identifying features without our express prior written permission. No licence is granted or implied by Membership.
General
21.1 This contract is between you and us. Nobody else can enforce it.
21.2 We can transfer our contract with you, so that a different organisation is responsible for supplying Membership. You cannot transfer our contract with you to someone else.
21.3 If a court or other authority decides that some of these terms are unlawful, the rest of the terms will continue to apply.
21.4 Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. We might not immediately chase you for not doing something (like paying) or for doing something you're not allowed to, but that doesn’t mean we can't do it later.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
